Adekunle Elumaro is a first-class graduate of Accounting from the University of Ado Ekiti in Ekiti State, he also holds a master’s degree in Management from Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja and he is currently rounding off further studies from the same university.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FICA), and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI). He is a level 3 Candidate of Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Institute.

Mr. Elumaro started his professional career with Ernest & Young in 2001, where he had both tax and audit experience before joining Nestle Nigeria Plc and Neptune Software Plc, where he gained both financial accounting and information technology experiences respectively. He returned to professional practice in 2005 with Deloitte, Nigeria. At Deloitte, Mr. Elumaro worked as a financial advisor for seven years advising organisations across industries. His professional skills range from valuation, business planning, feasibility study, due diligence, strategic reviews, business modelling, financial modelling, forensic auditing, and specialised financial investigation to buy-side/sell-side advisory.

Mr. Elumaro was the pioneer Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Transcorp Hotels Plc. He developed and coordinated the setup of accounting and processes. He also developed a five-year strategic plan both for Transcorp Hotels Plc and one of its subsidiaries, Transcorp Hotels Calabar Limited and coordinated the implementation. The Finance and Accounting roles are his skills while business transformation, incubation and recovery are his passions. He is very versatile in generating business ideas. Besides, with deep experience in due diligence, Mr. Elumaro has in-depth knowledge of business issues and how to resolve them.

Mr. Elumaro does not believe in impossibility, and he is intolerable of giving up on any business issue. He motivates and develops young graduates. He passionately believes that Nigerians are in the best position to solve Nigerians’ problems. He is open and resilient. Mr Elumaro has undertaken several professional training in and outside Nigeria.
